Kelinci dan kura-kura

Suatu hari seekor kelinci membual tentang seberapa cepat dia bisa berlari. Dia menertawakan kura-kura karena begitu lambat. Sangat mengejutkan kelinci, kura-kura menantangnya untuk berlomba. Kelinci memikirkan ini adalah lelucon yang bagus dan menerima tantangannya. Rubah itu menjadi wasit balapan. Saat perlombaan dimulai, kelinci berlari jauh di depan kura-kura, seperti yang semua orang pikirkan. Kelinci sampai ke setengah jalan dan tidak bisa melihat kura-kura di mana pun. Dia kepanasan dan lelah dan memutuskan untuk berhenti dan tidur sebentar. Bahkan jika kura-kura melewatinya, dia akan bisa berlari ke garis finish membalapnya.
